If you decide to compete you will travel around in order to race your dirt bike, These bikes are usually not road legal as so riding them to the motorcycle dirt racing track is not a viable option. You will need a van or a trailer to properly transport your motorcycle.

3. Quality helmet and goggles, these are essential when racing a motorcycle dirt bike. If you fall off your bike after a jump and smack your head, you must make sure you have the best protection you can afford for you noggin and your eyes. As matter of fact, buy a cheaper bike if you thats what you have to do in order to get a top quality helmet and goggles.

4. Don't get chintzy and buy a decent pair of boots to keep you protected. You might not realize it, but although not as dangerous as a head injury, the feet and ankles are the part of their body most likely to get injured if you fall, and good boots will also protect you from blisters and otherwise damage to the skin.
